Conchquest started from a simple frustration: you drive to the beach, the tide's wrong, and you spend an hour finding nothing but broken fragments. We built the app we wanted — one that tells you when to go, what to expect, and what you're holding once you find it.
Every beach gets a single 0–100 score, rebuilt from live tide height, wind speed and direction, wave height, and moon phase. It's not a guess — it's the same handful of conditions experienced shellers already watch for, combined into one number so you don't have to check four different sites before you leave the house. The score also points to the best window in the day to be on the sand, not just whether today is good in the abstract.
Alongside the score, Conchquest generates a short, plain-language strategy for your beach and conditions — where to look, what the tide is doing, and what to expect given the day's wind and wave setup. It reads like advice from someone who was just there, because it's built from the same forecast data as your score.
Shelling conditions shift day to day, so Conchquest doesn't stop at today's snapshot. A multi-day forecast strip lets you plan a trip a few days out and pick the best day in a stretch, not just check the app the morning of.

Every find you log builds a personal shelling history on your profile — species, condition, and where and when you found it. Save your regular beaches, set an alert threshold for each one, and Conchquest will notify you when conditions there cross into "go now" territory.
